The bright spots on the bottom are in fact reflexes. The cloak may be based on patterns from the 1300's, but I'm stuck in 2012 - there are cars to watch out for, buses to catch and people to dazzle (if willing). In the midst of winter we don't even have a sun to light up our days, so it's best to be on our toes.
Sounds like everything will be fine. I'm quite prepared for passing it through customs and all that - quite used to it and I don't mind as long as you get yours for making it. Generous of you with the opening discount~
